I have been as busy as a bee getting ready for Ryan's big
Dr. Seuss birthday bash!! I have less than 2 weeks now
before the party, and I still have {tons} of things to get done.
As much work as this whole "idea" has been, I have to admit
that I have really enjoyed planning this party!
And to know that he is having just as much fun helping me plan
& make decorations makes it even better!

I have conveniently done most of my "shopping" online and I
have also picked up a few things from here & there that I happened
to run across. These are a few things that I have gotten so far
and I am pretty happy at how everything is turning out!!
{fingers crossed!}

I found these orange and turquoise vinyl table covers at
Old Time Pottery the other day and I thought they would
be perfect! Glad to know that I can check that off the list!!

I got the plates {and several other things that haven't arrived yet}
from Seuss Land. I'm glad I found their website...

they had a pretty big variety, very good prices and the
shipping time was great!!

And last but not least, the red, white and blue striped paper
straws are courtesy of this awesome little Etsy shop,
Dime Store Buddy. They have lots of vintage-y type party
supplies and I am quite sure I will order again from them
in the future.

I had bought lots of scrapbooking paper at Michael's

{with a coupon, of course!} over the past few weeks, and I
finally got to put it to good use making these pinwheels

and 'happy birthday' banner. The pinwheels are still a work
in progress... they will eventually be table centerpieces.
