Okay, so before I go any further, I want to be a BIG GIRL and acknowledge the 

fact that #3 on my "August Short-List" has been a BIG FAIL!! To my defense please 

let me say, school just started back and it has been completely crazy around here. 

Not that that is an excuse, but it sure as heck is the truth. My life has been completely 

consumed the past few weeks with nothing but SCHOOL... shopping for new 

clothes & backpacks, the endless supply lists that have to be fulfilled, Meeting Teachers 

and just getting back into the swing of things. Whew, it's a lot of work! 

But we're getting there and I have to say it has been smooth sailing... SO FAR! :)

So now to catch up on all of the posts that I haven't posted... 

On August 5th, my {very} soon-to-be SIL graduated from the University Of 

Montevallo and I am so glad that I was able to be there to share this special day 

with her! This has been a very long road, BUT SHE DID IT! I am so excited about all 

of the life changing things that are going onwith her and my brother (who is a NEW 

US NAVY SAILOR)... I don't know if i could be any more prouder than I already am! 

Now that these chapters have closed, a new one must begin... and I am guessing that 

will start with LOTS of wedding planning. 

Haley and Jayson are getting married on April 14th, 2012... and time is flying by. 

Needless to say, my "to do" list keeps growing by the minute (thanks to Haley, lol). 

But I am so happy to be a part of it all!
