Since it's been a minute since my last post, I have several things I want to "dish on" tonight
and they all just happen to be on opposite ends of the spectrum, so this post may seem like
I'm just rambling. Oh well. At least I am posting, right?!
First things first... PINTEREST! Talk about O. M. G. If you haven't discovered the world
of Pinterest yet... DON'T!! Stay away... as far away as you can! Its so addictive! And
I mean ...SO... addictive! It is a site where you can create virtual "inspiration boards"
and keep all your ideas in one place as well as find tons of crafts, tutorials, cool pics
recipes and so much more. Its very much awesomeness! There is also an app for both
the iphone and ipad, which is just another plus in my book! So... here are a few of my
favorite "inspirations" I have pinned recently.
Next on the agenda... Cake Balls! I made over 15 dozen this week,
and boy am I glad that's over?! I love cake balls and I have a lot of clients
that love cake balls even more, but I really do dislike making them sometimes. It's just
such a looong process and even just a single batch makes almost 100, so I'm always
stuck with {tons of}extras! This past week, I made a couple of the always
popular flavors, homestyle carrot and very lemon. But I also wanted to find a few new
flavors to add to the mix... I came up with white chocolate and champagne,
and they both turned out yummy! The white chocolate had WC
chips baked into the cake as well as a very rich WC butter cream icing mixed in.
And the champagne was simply an oil based flavoring that I added to the cake batter
as well as the icing. It's very similar to basic vanilla and butter cream but has a deeper
flavor. Just my observation. Here's a pic of the new babies:

Are you a Vera Bradley fan?? If you aren't, I'm so sorry and if you are... have you seen
the new stadium blankets that came out Thursday?? They are on sale for a limited time for
$50. I actually still had my birthday coupon to use so after tax and coupon I only paid $33.
Score!!
I guess that about wraps it up for now. Actually, I still had a few more things on my "list"
but being that I have exactly 1 hour and 20 minutes to shower, dress and walk out the
door, I figure I should probably stop while I can!

Tomorrow I plan to "finish" this post and also work on posting a few other fun
things... like some digiscrap goodies. If you didn't notice, I have a new menu at the top
of my blog that is currently not finished, but I promise I'll get it wrapped up tomorrow. I'm
having a lot of fun learning digital design and can't wait to share some of the
things I've created.
