This week I have a little break from my caking, so I decided to take
advantage of it by doing a few "redecorating" projects around the house.
I'm not good at "resolutions" for the new year, but I can manage to set
a goal and most of the time reach it. So one my new year "goals" was to
complete some home projects that I've been wanting to do for awhile,
but they just haven't quite made it to the top of my priority list... until NOW!
First project is to paint the bathrooms. The main bath is just getting new
paint, and our bath is getting it ALL. I have decided to do a French
"shabby chic" look with some Paris accessories that I have (and haven't
had anywhere to use them).
My "inspiration" photo:
I picked up some paint swatches the other day, and quickly decided on
these two colors...
I have this curtain ordered and am patiently (but eagerly!) awaiting its
arrival. I have searched everywhere from B&M's to the cyber world trying to
find these, so just in case you love them as much as I do, you can find them
here. They come in beige and white, and I think I paid around $8 for shipping.
I also found these Paris themed bath accessories on Etsy, however
I will be pulling out the Cricut and trying these myself with vinyl.
I will also be cutting this out with my Cricut, for the wall...
I'm pretty excited to see it all come together...
Stay tuned for Part II
